The Rosebull Guarantee
My guarantee is not a promise to replace a sick puppy after the fact. It is a promise that the work is done before a litter is ever bred, so the known genetic diseases in this breed never reach your puppy in the first place. This page is a plain-English summary; the contract you sign at pickup is the binding document.
What I guarantee
- Every breeding parent is health-tested before they produce a litter: OFA hips and elbows, plus DNA testing for NCL, Ichthyosis, and HUU.
- I never pair two carriers of a recessive disease, so an affected puppy cannot be produced.
- Results are published on each dog's profile and are independently verifiable on OFA and Embark.
What testing can and cannot promise
Health testing prevents the known hereditary diseases this breed carries. It cannot promise a dog will never get sick from injury, environment, or a condition science cannot yet test for. Any breeder who promises a lifetime of perfect health is not being straight with you. What I can promise is that the genetic work was done honestly, before the breeding, and that you can verify every result yourself.
Written contract
Every puppy goes home with a written contract, provided before deposit and signed at pickup. It spells out the specifics in plain language. If a clause is unclear, ask before you pay.
The lifetime take-back
If anything in life changes and you cannot keep your Rosebull dog, illness, divorce, financial hardship, anything at all, I take the dog back. No drama, no judgment, no questions. Better home with me than rehomed to a stranger or surrendered to a shelter. This applies for the lifetime of the dog.
Your responsibilities
- Vet check within 7 days of pickup.
- Notify me right away of any concerning symptoms.
- Provide breed-appropriate food, exercise, and veterinary care for the dog's lifetime.
- Contact me first if you can ever no longer keep the dog.
